Our approach is neurologically based: rather than treating only the spot that hurts, Dr. Brad Shallow and Dr. Taneesha Waldner-Juras assess how your musculoskeletal and sensory systems are interacting with your nervous system, then target the areas where that communication has broken down.
Chiropractic Neurology is a three-year post-doctorate specialty focused on optimizing nervous system function using conservative, non-pharmaceutical methods. We use the musculoskeletal and sensory systems, and how they interact with the neurological system, to locate where function has broken down.

How we approach vertigo and dizziness at our DeLand office
Care is tailored to what the examination finds. Depending on your case, treatment may draw on any combination of the following:

What to expect at your first visit
We start with an examination and a conversation about your history, your symptoms, and what you are trying to get back to doing. From there we explain what we found and what we recommend.
Treatment plans are tailored to each individual. We don't sell large upfront packages — we focus on how your body responds to the first few adjustments. Chiropractic adjustment rarely causes discomfort, though some patients experience mild soreness afterward that usually resolves within 12 to 48 hours.
